Stung AGAIN today by a fire ant. I was innocently standing by the fire ant mound as Justin poured pot after pot of boiling water on the mound & suddenly an angry ant climbed into my sandal and got me. I know why they call them fire ants, they really do have a powerful bite. Please excuse the disgusting foot photo but just wanted to show you all proof of my battles with the fire ants.
So far we've tried fire ant pellets, all types of bug & insect sprays, digging up the mound, laquer thinner etc. etc. Those suckers are invincible!
