Annabelle has been playing doctor lately and poor old Walter the cat is the patient. He's usually pretty amicable about it until she tries to put "medicine" in his mouth. I have a feeling he will probably try to find a new chair to nap on soon if the doctor keeps interrupting his afternoon cat naps ;)

Easter Fun!

So, I'm sure you were getting tired of looking at that lizard photo below! I finally decided I should upload some new pics and update the blog. Lately I've been sidetracked with facebook and find myself putting photos and updates on there much more often than here. Plus, it doesn't help that I finally broke down recently and got an Android phone which adds to the ease of using facebook.

We had a wonderful Easter (well, as wonderful as it could be down here in the Valley). Annabelle dyed eggs, hunted eggs at school, the library & home, Justin changed the oil in the car, we grilled a pork loin and smashed some cascarones (confetti filled eggs, it's the tradition down here). Annabelle & I made a bunny cake. All in all it was a nice Easter.

Porch Lizard

And here is a photo of our front porch pet...the lizard. They love sitting on the palm trees or aloe vera. Sometimes they are very hard to see because they change color from a very vibrant green to almost chocolate brown. Strange little guys.

Gearing up for the Holidays!

 We're gearing up for the Holidays down here. It's been a warm November & early December but thankfully the weather cooled down into the 60's and 70's today, perfect weather for doing some outside decorating. Our tree is now up, snowman is in the yard & lights are on the shrubs. I don't think I'll ever get used to this extremely warm weather in December! Happy Holidays everyone!
