The SittiPapa Dance

Annabelle has been doing this crazy dance lately & finally got it on video. She calls it the "Sitti Papa Dance". Sorry, I didn't have time to edit this one since I took the video on my vado instead of my digital camera...(This one's for you Sitti & Papa!) Somehow Annabelle has this amazing knack of not getting dizzy! (I personally would be puking if I spun in a circle just once...)

Our Bad, Bad Backyard

Ugggh, I hate to even post this photo but wanted you all to have a "visual" of how bad our backyard is. Yes, those giant green things are weeds. It does look much better today because Justin mowed all the weeds down but I'm sure it won't be long before they grow back again. Hoping to soon be rid of the "bad backyard"...

Story Time (Feb. 3)

This week's storytime theme was "friendship". We got to make some really cool friendship bracelets and then we colored crayons for a giant crayon box on the wall of the library (we got to take one home too). Annabelle really enjoys the storytime crafts.

Annabelle's Room

Annabelle LOVES playing in her room (I am so thankful she now has a room to play in!). Most of the time it's a total mess in there with dress-up clothes everywhere. I found Walter in the middle of all the mess sleeping the other day, I think he enjoys Annabelle's room just as much as she does :)

Chocolate Cupcakes...Mmmmm

The Results are In!

The results of the chi-weenie vote are in! We have 66% "Yes" votes, thanks for voting! We are definitely thinking about getting a chi-weenie but first need to get new grass in our backyard (& a swing set for Annabelle). I contacted a yard guy last week (who didn't speak much English), he came out and looked at the yard but I haven't heard back from him on an estimate for putting in new sod. I think he might have thought it was a little too much work for him? I'll be contacting another landscaping business on Monday and see if I can't get some estimates. We would really like to have the new sod installed this month since weather is cooler & it has been rainy.
