Annabelle told me she can do "times" now in her computer class at school. I wasn't sure what she was talking about until we worked a little on the computer app at home yesterday and I realized she is doing MULTIPLICATION!!! Not just simple 1 x 2 or something like that...I'm talking BIG numbers! Justin and I talked about it and we don't remember doing this level of math until at least third or fourth grade. She can also read very well and write much better than either of us could in Kindergarten. It just amazes us what she is learning and she's only in Kindergarten! At this rate I'm not sure what she will be doing in 4th grade...solving the great problems of the world?

We had a lovely Easter weekend, the weather was nice and sunny. Annabelle was out of school on Good Friday but it still seemed like the weekend was still much too short. We had an egg hunt at our house, the Easter Bunny brought baskets for Ian and Annabelle. Annabelle LOVED hunting eggs this year. Ian didn't hunt any eggs this year but I'm sure he will be ready to egg hunt next year. I cooked a ham and we had a nice Easter dinner at home.

Annabelle has been carrying around a plastic egg for the last few months, she even named it "Easty". Poor Easty is worn, his painted stripe is coming off and he has a crack from being handled so much and sleeping under Annabelle's pillow every night. I'm hoping we can put all the Easter eggs back in the Easter tub in the attic and Easty can go along with them.
