Annabelle finished 2nd grade! Wow, the years just seem to fly by. She received a few awards at the awards ceremony. The theme of the ceremony was "Oh The Places You'll Go" and each student dressed up as what they would like to be when they grow up. Annabelle dressed as a Fashion Designer.

Ian is growing faster than ever! He likes to ride his tricycle, play with his bubble blaster and spend time outside. He is all boy. He also like to paint and play with his toy trucks. He knows most of his colors, all his construction vehicles and lots and lots of songs. He spends his free time tormenting his older sister.

Life has gotten hectic lately and I have neglected my blog. So here are some photos of what's been going on in our neck of the woods.

Ian turned TWO in January, he keeps me on my toes. He loves Trash Trucks, Dump Trucks, Motorcycle, Bulldozers and anything with wheels that makes a lot of noise. He spends his days trying to access the TV remote control and trying to figure out how to run the XBox while eating as many fruit snacks as he can. He can say "Helicopter" as clear as day but will not say "I need a drink" or "Help Me". He's a lovable little guy.

Annabelle turned EIGHT in November. She still loves ballet and gymnastics. She's doing great in school, reading 4th grade level books and other amazing things. She bridged from Daisy to Brownie in Girl Scouts and in an odd turn of events I became her Girl Scout Troop Leader.

To sum it all up we've had a busy, crazy few months! But I wouldn't have it any other way.

We had a great summer vacation on South Padre Island with the family. The kids enjoyed the beach and the pool at the beach house. It was so nice to spend time with the family!

Ian is ONE!

It's hard to believe Ian is already one year old!
Ian facts & favorites:
• Ian has 6 teeth (3 on top, 3 on bottom)
• Ian can crawl like a maniac and can ALMOST walk
• Ian loves electrical cords & electrical outlets - actually anything plugged into an outlet
• Ian loves music and will dance to any beat
• Ian can match pitch
• Ian loves food, he will eat almost anything, especially if someone else is eating it
• Ian can say "Dada" and "Uh-Oh"
• Ian has more hair than Annabelle had at age four!
• Ian loves flashlights
• Ian loves our dog and cats, he loves to snuggle them and pull their hair best
• Ian's favorite person is Annabelle, he thinks she is hilarious
• Ian growls at the dog when the dog barks
• Ian loves wagon rides

We had a VERY Merry Christmas! This year we stayed in the Valley, no traveling for us. It's been unseasonably cool in the Valley this year so it almost felt like Christmas. The kids got lots of gifts and Baby Ian had a really nice first Christmas.

Wow, She Grew Up Fast!

It's hard to believe that Annabelle is seven! Wow, where did the time go? Annabelle decided she wanted a small party this year with just a few friends at a local pot painting studio called Artsy Pots. The kids had a great time painting and we all went to McDonald's afterwards for Happy Meals and fun at the McDonald's play land. All in all I think Annabelle had a fantastic 7th birthday.
